Description
The Iridium 9522B Sebring LBT Data Modem is intended for incorporation into a final Iridium product that would supply power, provide an antenna, and provide user interface components such as keypad, display, microphone, and speaker. Data applications are also supported through an RS-232 serial interface.

The Iridium 9602 Short Burst Data (SBD) modem is much smaller and uses extremely low power if SBD data is sufficient. Outfitter Satellite occasionally has refurbished Iridium 9522A Daytona Data Modems. Please call for information.

CHANGES RELATIVE TO THE OLDER IRIDIUM 9522A MODEL:
The Iridium 9522B Sebring L-Band Receiver (LBT) Data Modem has the same footprint and connector locations as the older 9522A Daytona LBT data modem. The two modems have the same AT command support except tha tthe 9522B has an additional AT command for analog audio selection. The two modems have the same transmit power and the same antenna connector. The pinout of the butt connector on the transceiver PCB is different. The Sebring uses a DSC bus interface where the Daytona uses DPL bus interface. Some of the pins on the 25 pin D connector have changed.
